I use a Lafayette LX-4000. The sensor pad for this from Lafayette is $495.00. Does anyone know of another place/company that I could purchase a LX-4000 compatible sensor pad that is less expensive? Thanks,

I don't think there is such a source. It's well worth the $500. (You could always try calling Chris and beg a little. It might work.)

The pad is worth 10 times the price. What is your professional reputation worth? This is a no brainer!

Besides, it's tax deductible...

The film pad is proprietary to that instrument, great for psychological warfare before examinee is seated. I always spend extra time explaining it. Worth every cent, they can not hover above it while seated. Just my opinion from Counter Measure City.
